 Year I became a deacon at Marble Falls: 2003 and again in 2008

 

 Ministries I am closely associated with: Involvement, Prison Ministry, Education, Worship

 

Personal Dreams for Marble Falls Church of Christ: That the church in this community will grow physically and spiritually while being a body unified in faith, hope, love, service and truth.

 

Personal Interests/Hobbies: bass fishing, hunting, coaching & umpiring baseball/softball

 

Favorite Bible Verse: Mark 1: 16-18- As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.  "Come follow me," Jesus said, " and I will make you fishers of men."  At once they left their nets and followed him.

 

Why: because I love to fish and am reminded that some of the greatest men in the kingdom were also fishermen.  This verse also makes clear the point that we should leave all to follow Christ and seek to make disciples of others.
