Spiritual formation is not an event, a retreat, a book or a class. It is a life-long process of internal change that takes place in solitude, community and service. While transformation is the work of God, there are numerous spiritual disciplines and practices that help us connect to God in meaningful ways. These disciplines and practices are communal and individual in nature. Individual disciplines include prayer, study, meditation, silence, solitude and self-examination. In addition to our worship assemblies, we offer a variety of classes and discussion groups that encourage us and form us into the image of Jesus. This is a schedule of our current adult classes and discussion groups.

Wednesday ladies Bible study groups intended to create more intimate discussion and heart connection.  Groups meet weekly throughout the length of a Bible study.  Meets during Fall and Spring.

Thursday Evenings Granites meet @ a Local Restaurant @5:00 PM (Check calendar for location.)

This ministry offers all people the opportunity to grow as disciples of Jesus. Members of each small group will gather in the name of Jesus to listen to and study God’s word, to care for one another, to serve the church and community and to welcome the stranger.

There are multiple small groups that meet at various times each month throughout Blanco, Burnet and Llano Counties. The goal of the Small Group Ministry is edification and fellowship. Generally, a Small Group will meet in a member’s home or other agreed upon location. Most Small Groups meet on Sunday afternoons or evenings. Each group has leaders and hosts who will coordinate that groups meeting and lead the discussion of the curriculum being used by each group.

The Granites Ministry is for our “senior” members who enjoy times of fellowship during a weekly meal at a local restaurant and have a periodic game nights in the MFCC Fellowship Hall. The Granites also support various community projects as needed. If you are over 55 years of age and young at heart, the Granites ministry group is for you.
